The Paradise Park Communities have
particular homes designed specifically for memory
care residents. With the latest in electronic
monitoring and a beautiful and secured courtyard area, we can offer a nonrestrictive
atmosphere. It is our philosophy to surrender the institutional point of view
and adopt the human habitat where the memory-impaired resident can be assisted
in their own reality.
Our staff is trained to understand
the needs and desires of the memory impaired. We embrace their lifestyle
and our passion is to help residents
feel at home,
loved and secure. Each memory care resident will have an individual service
plan developed by the resident, the resident’s family or guardian and
the Paradise Park staff. The service plan for each resident will be the guideline
for caring for the resident.
Before moving to Paradise Park,
our staff will conduct a resident assessment. This assessment must
be approved by the resident’s physician. After moving
to Paradise Park, residents will have a monthly assessment by our nurse on
staff . However, the physician is still in charge of all recommendations for resident
health concerns.
Life enrichment activities are
offered to promote and enhance the quality of life for our memory
care residents. Our activity director understands the needs of our
residents and provides
an activity calendar full of variety for our residents.
Providing familiar
sights,
sounds and smells help our residents to feel at home. Nutritious meals
cooked in our open kitchen provide a wonderful aroma to promote appetite.
Family
members, children, and qualified pets are always welcome at Paradise Park
because they
can provide positive interaction and stimulation for our residents.
